Records of a group founded in 1988 to restore the Seth Peterson Cottage, a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Mr. Peterson on Mirror Lake (Wis.) in 1958. One of the last projects of Wright, construction was halted in early 1960 following the deaths of both Wright and Peterson. Subsequently, construction was resumed by a Milwaukee family according to Wright's original plans. After the state acquired the land which would become Mirror Lake State Park, the cottage was abandoned until 1988 when the Conservancy lobbied state and private groups to fund the restoration of the cottage. The restoration was completed in 1993 at which time the SPC began to lease the cottage out to small groups making the cottage one of only two FLW homes in which visitors can spend the night.
